Shipping policy



General shipping Information:

  • Orders in Germany are sent via UPS (6€) or DHL (7€), UPS is faster.
  • Orders in the European Union will be sent out via UPS (12€) or via standard post (12€). While UPS is quicker, standard post is delivered by the local postal service which can be more reliable in more rural areas.
  • International orders are by default a standard tracked international package (15€) and while these packages are sent via DHL, the final delivery will be done through the local postal service. Currently no international express options are offered.
  • Orders from outside the EU are priced with 0% VAT and in some cases can be subject to import customs/VAT, please check your local policies in any case.
  • US orders will be sent using DDP, so import customs will be calculated and paid at checkout. To minimize cost US parcels are sent in batches once a week on Tuesday morning, the shipping confirmation email will provide more details.
  • Expedited shipping to the US will cost approximately $105 via DHL Express due to the customs handling, please contact hello@hedeco.de if you want to consider this option as it is not offered as standard.

Shipping Time Estimations:

Packages usually are shipped within one or two work days after ordering. Current estimates for shipping times for standard shipping are listed below:

  • Germany: 1-2 work days (UPS) 2-5 work days (DHL)
  • European Union: 2-5 work days (with UPS, Standard Post can take longer)
  • Europe (non EU):  1-2 weeks
  • UK: 1-2 weeks
  • USA: 2,5-3,5 weeks 
  • Canada: ~2 weeks
  • Japan: 1-2 weeks
  • Australia 3-5 weeks


If your package takes longer than the estimates above, please feel free to contact me at hello@hedeco.de. For non-EU orders: as final delivery is done through the local postal service, please check the tracking number on the respective website of your postal service, as this usually is more up to date than the one provided by DHL.
