A guard for the control wheel to prevent accidental inputs when using a camera strap.
On some cameras like the Leica M3 the meter sits far enough back that when using a camera strap accidental inputs are a possibility when the camera hangs in an active state. While using the snap fit case or manually turning the meter off (double tap the button and hold the second tap for a second to shut the meter off) are alternatives in some cases, this is hardware solution to the problem.
The guard is still compatible with the snap fit case, it uses the threads of the left mount for the foot, so only the default right oriented mount and middle mount are available then.
The kit contains:
1x Guard made via high quality polyamide 3D printing (HP Multi Jet Fusion)
2x 3mm M1.6 counter sunk slot head screws
Important: A small flathead screwdriver is needed to mount this accessory as none is included at this moment.
